Back to ATL

Spent the week before Christmas in Atlanta, wrestling for SKW and having a good time visiting great friends! Went to a party and made awesome new friends with the hosts, Amanda and Chris. There was amazing food, fun decorations, a hukka and everyone was wearing Santa hats to bring the Christmas spirit. There were also talks about camping trips in the future...which I hope to be a part of :)

I had not been to Atlanta in about a year, so it was really good to be back. Last year, I had been there a lot because I was dating, Santiago, the wrestling producer of SleeperKidsWorld, who lives and shoots in Atlanta. Things did not work out between us in that way, but we have always remained good friends and still work together whenever possible. Santiago is now dating Jacquelyn Velvets and she has just recently moved in with him in Atlanta from NYC. Jackie and I share mutual friends through modeling and became instant friends when we met at Fetishcon in August. I am really happy for what Santi and Jackie have found with each other and wish them all the best! Once Jackie got settled in with Santiago, I figured it was a good time to return and hang with my Atlanta crew. I'm now happy Jackie is a part of that crew and we had a great time together :)

During my stay we went to a wonderful fondue restaurant called Down the Hatch, where the whole place is built like a giant pirate ship. It was a really neat atmosphere and the food was so fun to cook and eat! I also got to play the XBOX Kinect for the first time! It is AMAZINGLY FUN! We played some sports and then each humiliated ourselves by dancing on the Dance Central game. Jackie took video of it which is pretty funny! The Kinect really is a lot of fun to play and I can't wait to get one! I use my whole body when I play and definitely keep my heart rate up. It's a new way to workout! The Kinect is now #1 on my Christmas wishlist!

Happy Holidays!

80310yens -> 720.75 €.

This shopping list is just a Lolita outfit. Lolitas would be  pay that  if they wanted to buy a full   first-hand outfit of  one of the most famous brands, BTSSB. To have a closet, at least you have 3 sets, so that you can only multiplicate the price of one...

¿Do you want to be Lolita - or at least, you want to have one of these dresses - and you have been scared?

Go calm, to be Lolita it's not necessary to wear in brands because how you can see or we have an huge adquisitive power or you spends your salary in a outfit.

In nowadays it have a lot of imitation shops that they're selling similar products in a more cheap prices. The quality although it seems to leave to be desired, it is quite acceptable. But the customs are still down. Bodyline and Taobao are two of the most commonly bought shops.

If you don't mind to the used clothes, Ebay is usually selling second-hand clothes, some of them have never been worn for sizes problems, of original brands in a most competitive prices.

If the aforementioned don't convence you, you have the last option: handmade or lolita's indie shops. A lot of girls can sew and they realize herselfs the patters, choose theirs material and they design unique models that Novala Takemoto would have in his collection. Generally they sell their products on Internet in a very cheap prices (skirts for 50 €, for example).

Qué no hacer. // What don't do.

x Resort to punks, goth....shops for buy lolita. In this shops the clothes are from industrial textil fabrics who are producing for teenagers but the clothes aren't good quality and overcoat, they don't lolita.
x Resort to cosplay
x Left the lolita for to be so expensive.

BatTracy!

Spent a freezing cold weekend in Dallas, Texas working with some of my favorite model friends and Lonestar Damsels, my favorite damsel-in-distress producer. I have worked with this crew for almost 3 years now and it is always a great time!

With Lonestar, I film many videos of me and other girls as helpless damsels that find themselves in a variety of situations where they get tied up and in need of saving. It's a fetish... commonly referred to as DID bondage. I understand that this may seem bizarre to those not into this or other fetishes... but if you think about comic books and cartoons, or old westerns there is a girl tied up on the train tracks that the hero must save in just the nick of time... you may be able to get an idea of where this fetish comes from.

My absolute favorite damsel to play is Batgirl! Lonestar has a special interest in the classic Batman television show from the 60's and we often re-create scenes from the old show. The producer had suits made ,just like the ones in the show and we have a blast getting into character! Once I put on that shiny purple leotard along with the purple & gold cape and boots...I AM BATGIRL! I stand with my hands on my hips, in my super hero pose, and run around looking for criminals saying things such as "oh, Drat!" and "you filthy feline, I'll get you Catwoman!"

LOL! I have such a great time doing it! I even dress up in a sexy librarian outfit wearing my glasses and play the part of Barbara Gordon too! It is so much fun! I must give out a big THANK YOU to Lonestar Damsels for getting the Batman crew together and providing me with the suit. Without him, I could not be the BatTracy that I am :)

In the past few months I have been getting a lot more emails from fans expressing how much they love to watch videos of me as Batgirl. It makes me so happy to know that people are enjoying something I have so much fun doing! I have been watching the old episodes on YouTube and I hope to start filming my own Batgirl videos soon. So, if you are interested in seeing more BatTracy, please speak up. Post comments, send me emails, let me know what you'd like to see...help me get started in producing more Batgirl videos :)

Check out the thread about me as Batgirl in The Ultimate Superheroine Forum or watch a clip from a Lonestar Damsel video that someone posted on Youtube!
Videos of me as Batgirl can also be purchased on the websites for Lonestar Damsels or Dawnstar Productions.

Takenoko-zoku

Takenokozoku  (竹の子族) were a japanese fashion / urban tribe that existed between 1970 (end) to 1980 (early). It was a group of youth people (in their majority were girls but the groups were leaded with a boy) that worn in a similar way and they met to dance in Sunday's afternoon. They were one of first tribes in Harajuku.

The name provides by a shop called Takenoko, which was situated in Shibuya, because the -zoku sufix in japanese means tribe or group. These shop sold japanese traditional clothes and was based in Heian's epoque (784-1185 dC) kimonos. At least, the clothes in this shop were so expensive, so the  poor takenozokus musn't bought them and the only way to be takenozoku were customizate their handmade clothes.

The takenozoku aesthetic was so shocking. Polyester baggy clothes with bright colors like pink, yellow, green...with a string. Were usually to decorate the clothes with kanjis. In their aesthetic were usually to had a infantil component: sewed patches with a My name is... phrase (in Japan is common to use that for identificate the youngest kids), were wearing plastic whistles and sometimes some cuddly toys. In both sexes were common to wore plastic hats and in the case of the girls, pearl pendants bought in cheap shops. Is evident that this could be a referent to decorer aesthetic. The shoes were of kung fú because it were so comfortable to dance.

In reference at physic aesthetic, they didn't wear make up or anything similar like that, but many girls combed their hair like Seiko Matsuda.

The dances were so similar than the traditional Odori dance, they were coreographiated maximily (as gyary and their para para) and might a huge takenozokus (usually young people who musn't go to the discos for be underaged) and in 1979, they had meeting more than 5.000. Like ever in Japan, most of them were separated in groups with a name like Rainbow or The Runners. They could used banners (stealed in the nights at the shops) to diferenciate themselves.

The music, which was reproduced in stereos, might were from pop japanese singers.

¿Pero qué pasó con ellos?
¿But, what  happened with them?

In nowadays another kind of people are usually seen in Harajuku. People with toupes, hair gel, cowboy boots and leather jackets. The rockabillies appereared in 1983. They listened music from outside of Japan. And didn't like takenokozokus. So that, the fights began between the two groups which the rockers were victorious.

Breve: Stay the night [James Blunt]

Beach, tattoos, Sun, surfoards, waves, good feelings and hidden clams in the sand. James Blunt (the singer of you're beautiful, the song that had sounded in excess and we had bored too) updated a new song that although it isn't relationed by the musical style of surfers, is crowded for surfers and sea.

Now, all preppy (who in summer they looks like surfers but they don't) have a new idol to love. I thought that surfers / windsurfers / kiters will hate for this reason - because they are usually complaining for that - but they update the song in their webs.

Igualmente, disfruta la música si te gusta.
However, enjoy the music if you like.

Pin up / rockabilly hairstyles

Victory Rolls: It emerged near at the end of the Second World War (1940).  The women hairstyled like that to honour the victorous soldiers.
