Gyaru-o is the contraction of the words gyaru and otoko which means gal boy. Gyaru-o's as gals, are divided in types according their styles. Here goes:
It's based in camouflage clothing and green colors, aviator jackets and boots. They also use the typical metal pendant with the date of birth recorded, very common in soldiers.

It's based on quilted jackets with feather hoods (here, in spain this clothes are very common in Chavs), jeans woth some cuts and boots. The T-Shirts with skulls or rock prints are very common. They also include some metallic tack.

More or less like the bikers: black clothes and leather jackets and of course, boots. Personally I find it difficult enough to differentiate it from the gyaru-o rock style, but in Japan it should be easier.
American Casual (アメカジ系)
Americanized style. They also wear suit jackets with T-shirts. The trousers tend to be vintage and don't usually carry to many holes. In nowadays, they offer another way more funny, mixing T-shirts and shirts in one look, straight or slim fit jeans and sneakers.

One of the most prevalent styles, each summer is rising again. Boys try to imitate Hawaiians, buying floral shirts and shirts with palm prints. The colors are usually clear and bright. One of brand who have this is style is CocoLuLu.

They received this name because they try to wear the Host style (not have to be on of them). The wear is also elegant. The basic combination are the suits (usually in black) with a white shirt which have a big neck. The beld and shoes are usually of leather.

The masculine simile of Onnegyaru. They are guys who wear expensive clothes like Chanel or Gucci. Generally this is associated with the oldest gyaru-os.

The name comes from Center Boy and they would like the version of the Yamambas. The "sorcerer" hair were dyed in colors white or pastel pink. I dare to say that the style is dead, like the Yamambas "evolved" to Mambas and Banbas, the Sentaa guys envolved to Kyoba bo-i.

Bi-kei (B系)
One of the new styles would dress like rappers. Baggy hooders and baggy jeans. Hats and scarves are the ideal accesories.

Kyoba bo-i
Quite tanned and brightly colored dyed hair, the Kyoba bo-i differs from the Sentaa for the utilization of more accessories.
